What is the best section to sit at MetLife Stadium? ›

The Best Seats at MetLife Stadium

First, in my opinion, whether you sit on the Giants side (sections 109 to 117) or the visitor side (sections 134 to 143) some of the best seats are in sections 135, 136, 137, 112, 113, and 114. Putting aside the coolness factor, the best seat would be between rows 10 and 20.

The designated area for all drop offs and pickups is between parking lots D + E. There is curb space along the roadway that provides a safe area for drop-offs and pick-ups. There is no charge to access the drop-off / pick-up area.

Generally, the seats in the shade at MetLife Stadium are located: South End Zone: Shade in sections on the south side of the stadium. West Sideline: Shaded seats on the visiting team's side of the field.

MetLife Stadium Capacity and Seating Options

MetLife has a capacity of 82,500, making it the largest in the NFL. There are five tiers of seating at MetLife: the lower bowl (sections 101 to 149), suite level 3, club seating (201 to 250b), suite level 5, suite level 6 and the upper bowl (301 to 350).

Always, the best place to sit is about halfway up the stand and parrallel to the halfway line on either side. Don't go behind the goals. For all stadiums the same rules apply if you want to watch a game at the optimum vantage point.

Best Seats For Viewing The Game

As we said, the best seats for seeing everything happen on the gridiron in perfect clarity are those perches on the 50-yard line. Between rows 10-20 is ideal as you can see the whole field without being too far away.

Bottles/Cans

Bottles and cans, excluding a factory sealed canned or plastic bottle of water or soft drink 20 oz or less in size, are prohibited from being brought into the Stadium. Any guest deliberately concealing alcohol which is found during the security screening process may be prohibited from entering the Stadium.

Guests are welcome to carry-in the following items into MetLife Stadium: Clear bags that are 12″ x 6″ x 12″ or less in size (1 bag per person) Small purses/handbags (clutch-type bags) that are 4.5″ x 6.5″ or less in size (1 per person) Hand sanitizer 6 oz. or less in size and disinfecting wipes.

What is not allowed in MetLife Stadium? ›

Umbrellas, strollers, laser pointers, and balls of any kind including full-sized footballs. Drones. Single purpose video cameras or still-photography cameras with a lens longer than 6" Weapons, including firearms, knives and any item that may be used as a projectile or one that is deemed dangerous by Stadium management.

These sections are 121-131, 101-106, and 146-149. The overhang covers rows 36 to 45. These seats are best when weather conditions are less than optimal. If you rather rough it out while watching the NY Giants or NY Jets, rows 1-35 should have some great deals available.

Guests are welcome to carry-in the following items:

The stadium is owned by the MetLife stadium Company, joint venture of the Giants and Jets, and cost 1.6 billion to construct. At the time, this was the most expensive stadium ever built. They are host to many other events such as concerts and soccer games.

What if it rains at MetLife Stadium? MetLife Stadium is an open stadium but there is cover from row 36 - 45 in sections 121-131, 101-106 and 146-149. If it is a football game they will still play in the rain.

It seems like they get more sun in their eyes that way. More room for a better clubhouse on that side when they were building it.
