First of all, there are many choices.

You can go for Paw if you want, but it's already out of the meta, so its not that much of an option. I will tell each strengths and weaknesses of Ice and Dark (both are fully awakened).

Awakened Ice: Let's say you finally completed all awakened moves with your team. Ice is very good for its stuns and its decent mobility on water, especially with Mink v3 race, and because ALL of its moves break Ken AND stuns, or disables the opponent's ability to attack or counterattack. Since you want to play as a Sword main, here are the PROS:

  • Awakened Ice V is harder to escape than unawakened Ice V. It can also freeze the air, AND be used on air, which means jumping won't do any good for the opponent, the hitbox is also bigger, it has more damage, but since you're going to be a sword main, V move is really good for your choice of combo starting. It breaks Ken, and if you mash the move quickly enough, you can combo out of Awakened Ice V, such as: Superhuman C - Shisui Z - Superhuman Z - Superhuman X, and you can KEEP REPEATING this combo, to pressure your opponent until you finally get his or her Bounty.

  • Awakened Ice C is much easier to hit than unawakened C, it also has less end-lag and freezes slightly longer in terms of range, even at close range. This move is good for catching the opponent, as well as combo-ing the heck out of them. This move also freezes and stuns more the longer it travels, making it good to catch runners, both on ground and the air. It is also AOE, which means it can freeze MORE THAN ONE PERSON, making it good for crowd control and such.

  • Ice X and Z Awakened can be good for counter playing, for example the opponent gets too close, you can either use Ice X to knock him or her back, or Ice Z to stun them then punish them with V and a combo.

Now, we go to the CONS.

  • Awakened Ice V is VERY PUNISHABLE if you miss it, especially against a smarter and more experienced opponent who can predict well and Soru out quickly. Unlike Ice unawakened V, once you miss, there is a 2-3 SECOND END-LAG, WHERE YOU CANNOT WALK AWAY OR SORU, WHCIH MEANS YOU'RE TECHNICALLY DEAD IF YOU MISS THE MOVE. This move should be used more wisely, to prevent it from missing. In fact, YOU CANNOT WALK AT ALL IF YOU USE V IN THE AIR.

  • Awakened Ice C is actually hard to catch opponents who keep dashing (such as Minks, or Human v3s because they keep Soru-ing.) This move is also punishable because it has start-up lag, where the user summons the Ice Dragon, and if it misses, the opponent will combo the heck out of YOU.

  • Awakened Ice Z, has very little stun and has almost no use at all unless you have quick thinking and immediately combo the opponent after using Z, otherwise, it can be punished if the opponent predicted the move. Ice X doesn't even help you in ANY WAY, MAKING IT A USELESS MOVE ONLY for running.

  • F cannot be used in PvP, as Mink dashes and its ability is way faster than it.

Now, lets move to Dark: here are the PROS:

  • X, C and V have unlimited potential, meaning infinite and annoying stun can almost not be prevented. You can Soru to the opponent and use C and X, followed by a quick combo, you can also use X to prevent opponents from running, especially in the air.

  • Dark has a lot of versatility. It is good for fighting the air, it is good for raids, even without points in Fruit, it is good for PvPing and Bounty Hunting and is most of the time known as 'braindead'. Moves are very unpredictable, unless you are a skilled player. Moves have a BROKEN HITBOX, SOMETIMES EVEN LANDING BEHIND YOU.

  • Dark's Z move can be used to surprise combo the opponent AND CATCH RUNNING OPPONENTS, as it teleports you to them once you catch them. V can be used as counterplay, and can be used if the opponent did a mistake or is close to you.

  • F move is literally so annoying with its short cooldown, decent range, and spammable nature. You can literally just spam this move to either run, catch people, or dodge moves from the opponent, especially other Dark users, Paw users, FLAME USERS, YES, FREAKING FLAME'S X MOVE CAN BE DODGED BY AN EXPERIENCED PLAYER WITH DARK, QUAKE AND RUMBLE, BOTH AWAKENED.

Otherwise, Dark has way more PROS than this, and has definitely more PROS than CONS:

  • Awakened Dark X has end-lag if you miss the move. The move cannot be rotated, EVEN WITH SHIFT-LOCK, and if you miss the move, which is very unlikely unless you are a bad Dark user or a person who overestimates Dark's range and power. Awakened Dark X can be punished easily by an experienced player that is good at PvP, and can even lead to one-shot combos or slow devastating moves, such as Flame V, or Rumble C and Quake Z and V.

  • Awakened Dark C and X, if used on the ground or near it, can easily be Soru-ed out of. Unless you use Dark X from the air, it is more unlikely the person will fail, but a person with Human v3 will surely succeed if it is near the ground, as Human v3 has an extra Soru range. Dark X and C on the ground can also be avoided by mashing Soru button, or R, as long as its not on cooldown, and boom the opponent escapes.

  • Awakened Dark V has end-lag, and missing will cost you your health being taken by a large amount if the opponent knows what he or she is doing.

  • Z is VERY hard to hit, unless you are close to the opponent or have good aim, it is most likely YOU WILL NEVER HIT THIS MOVE ON SOMEONE DASHING OR RUNNING.

That's all for it. Here is my overall conclusion:

Awakened Dark: For people who want to be more professional, or are not good at playing with Ice, or people who are just braindead XD.

Awakened Ice: For people who have or want to have skill, although this is less reliable.

Good luck in choosing your fruits.
